Stewardship Saturday

Location: Meet at Pickering Barn Parking Lot, Issaquah (1730 10th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027)

Join the Three Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited as we partner with Green Issaquah on a monthly stewardship event working along Issaquah Creek near Pickering Barn.

This month we're starting work along Issaquah Creek, behind Pickering Barn. Join us to dig out blackberry rootballs and remove invasive ivy from the riparian area. Issaquah Creek is an important salmon bearing stream and this is an ongoing restoration project to improve habitat and water quality.

Event Details: Meet at 10:00 am in the grassy area outside Pickering Barn. Parking and meeting location directions will be provided to participants. Volunteers will be using shovels, and other tools to dig blackberry, remove ivy, and maintain the area around native plantings as we restore this site.

All community members are welcome, and no experience necessary!

Reserve your spot online. Registration will close at 7:00 pm the day before the event. https://tu.myeventscenter.com/event/119542
