Join us on Tuesday, December 16 at 10:00 AM at The Meadow Shelter in Lake Sammamish State Park for a special sustainability press conference and hands-on volunteer event.
Airbnb will be announcing its largest-ever investment in Washington, supporting four environmental protection and sustainability organizations. We will celebrate these partnerships and then work together to improve salmon habitat right here in Lake Sammamish State Park.
Event Details
• 9:50 to 10:00 AM: Welcome snacks and refreshments
• 10:00 AM: Press conference with Airbnb, Trout Unlimited, Washington National Park Fund, Leave No Trace, and state officials
• 11:00 AM: Community volunteer project led by Trout Unlimited
Creek cleanup, invasive plant removal, and salmon habitat restoration
No experience needed. All supplies provided.
The volunteer site is a short walk or quick drive from the shelter. Please dress for winter weather.
This is a family-friendly chance to get outside, give back, and connect with other conservation-minded community members this holiday season.
